Dear Iranian of Manitoba,
We are pleased to announce the celebration of “Yalda night”, or “Shabe Chelle”, the longest night of the year, and ancient Iranian festivity. This event is jointly hosted and organized by the Iranian Community of Manitoba (ICM) and University of Manitoba Iranian Students Association (UMISA).
Date & Time: Saturday December 17, 2011, from 8:00 pm to 1 am. Doors will be open @7:30

“Yalda Night” Tickets: Before Dec. 15th: $ 7.00, and $ 10.00 afterward. No charge for children under 12
“Shuttle Bus” Tickets: $ 7.00 per seat (Bus tickets are not available after Dec. 12th)
Please note that there is a limited amount of tickets available and it is based on first come first serve.
There will be refreshments and dainties along with nuts and fruits to make the longest night of the year more enjoyable for all of us. The Yalda night is going to be filled with games, live music, Dj, dance and other performances to make this night a memorable night of the year. Separate entertainment program will be provided for our children.
For your convenience and the good of our environment, we encourage you to use our “Shuttle Bus” service, a separate cost from Yalda tickets. This shuttle with a limited capacity of 48 people leaves @ 7:15 pm from Zeller& Safeway located @ 2860 Pembina Highway (Fort Richmond Mall).
